About Natalie
My goal is to help students of all ages develop and foster a love of music, while developing their musical potential. I’ve studied music since I was young; taking lessons in a myriad of different musical instruments and taking part in as many different performing groups as my schedule would allow! I believe very strongly in embracing curiosity when it comes to what music you listen to, what music you want to create, and how you wish to create it.
I have taught voice privately for the past 9 years, and many of my students have performed and received awards at MTCA, and the Berkeley Junior Bach Festival. While the majority of my repertoire is classical music and opera, I take great joy in teaching basic vocal technique, musical theater repertoire, and popular music. I teach and coach voices of all ages, if they are motivated and willing to practice.
Natalie Erskine has received awards and placed in major international competitions such as the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions, The Lauritz Melchior International Wagner Competition, and The Meistersinger von Nürnberg.
